Now that 'The Dance' is out, we finally have time to embark on our latest project: Beyond The Human. BTH is a project owned by Irritum Records and the artist Irritum.

Not entirely unexpected Peter (Irritum) is focusing on gaming and film music. In his own words:

"The Interactive Entertainment Industry i.e Gaming is one of the few industries that cover all my capabilities (or faults depending on your viewpoint). I am a software scientist, an artist and in general not interested to conform to my age and the niceties of contemporary society. So the choice is obvious. I also strongly believe that we listen to music in a different way when we are watching a movie or playing a game. Sound in general and music in particular amplifies or attenuates the experience according to what the designers or directors want but also adds a subjective element to the experience. The idea of being able to interact with a musical expression to reflect a current mood or situation appeals to me. Technology will give us new ways of listening or rather experiencing music. Beyond The Human will be an operation within Irritum Records that can be hired to help create new technology, music and sound for the games and films of tomorrow."

BTH is fairly separated from normal operations within Irritum Records and has hits own website. It is early days still but do check it out from time to time:
